Batched products are items that require tracking by Batch Number and Expiry Date.

Creating a batched product follows the same process as creating a regular product, with one additional step.

Steps to Create a Batched Product

  1. From the Dashboard, go to Products.
  2. Click Add New Product.
  3. Fill in the required fields (Product Name, Code, Description, etc.).
  4. In the Inventory Type field, select Batched Product. ✅ (This is the only difference from creating a regular product.)
  5. Complete the remaining fields as needed (Supplier, Pricing, etc.).
  6. Click Save.

Once a batched product is created, an additional Batches tab will appear in the product profile.

Once created, batched products can be managed through different transactions.
